It has been the strangest two and a half weeks. Watching Doctor Who has made the last two weeks feel like years or life times, traveling the universe through time and space. Now that I've come to the end of season 6, what am I to do now? I understand how the companions feel when their journey ends with the Doctor. Not that its ended, but still have to wait for the next season.
I've come back to say all my weariness of the new doc has dissipated with the smack down 5th season finale. And love was renewed. The show getting better with each episode of the 6th season. Though, the Tenth Doctor is still my favourite and the era of the show then but one must move on.
I'd really wish I had a little more time to write something more substantial as I usually try to with my posts though not always succeeding. It looks like this is one of those times. Maybe I'll come back to update it. Although, I did want to... because I didn't have the chance last time, to talk about my fondness for the old TARDIS blue. The present one is too blue. Ha! That sounds silly just typing it. How can something be too blue? I mean sure the darker tint is a prettier tone; very midnight and dreamy, the type of dark blue you see in children's picture books. It's very fitting for the current feel of the show. The Eleventh Doctor is really like Willy Wonker, a mysterious, stange, old man with the heart of a child and there to show you the world. The stuff of dreams and magic. All is great, I say. But there's just something about the old tattered faded pale blue. Just something.
