Christmas the gift giving season. What's it like in you're work place? Well, in my office we had a Secret Santa. One of my colleagues even dressed up as Santa. People sat on his lap! Although he was quite straight with some of the lads who wanted to! Haha. :D
An office email went around detailing the gist of the Secret Santa specifically stating to purchase a low cost non-food gift for the person. There were some pretty thoughtful and interesting gifts. I went out after work the evening before and purchased a set of beer glasses for my giftee. I had a nightmare trying to wrap it - shameful I know! I've forgotten how to wrap a simple cube! The most simple of prisms! But alas, I did my best and even tied a streamer bow around it.
Disappointing it was that my Secret Santa dashed to Woolies and got me a box of chocolates! But it's still chocolate. I can't complain :) Sadly another colleague opened her present to find black socks! No-no. Not just black socks but white socks too. Like that is any consolation right? Some people just don't put any thought into it.
